What is LinkedIn Publisher? Here’s what LinkedIn says:

Your original content becomes part of your professional profile. It is displayed on the posts section of your LinkedIn profile.

It’s shared with your connections and followers.

Members not in your network can now follow you from your long-form post to receive updates when you publish next.

Your long-form post is searchable both on and off of LinkedIn.
We chose to start publishing your blog articles on LinkedIn Publisher – before telling you – so we could ensure we figured it out properly and could do it consistently.
Your LinkedIn Publisher posts are showing up in the news feeds (and notifications) of your connections. Your posts also appear to those viewing your profile – your 3 most recent articles will be right underneath your profile badge at the top of LinkedIn:

This should help you gain Social Media Optimization (SMO), as well as additional exposure in the LinkedIn network to both your contacts and even to those who don’t know you yet.
Why is phoneBlogger doing this?
We’re offering this added service (no extra charge) as we’ve been seeing some issues recently with getting blog articles into group postings, which at this point appears to be clearing up, for the most part. We’re happy about that, but this gives you an additional syndication channel for your content in the social media sphere.
You don’t have to do anything. We just wanted to let you know it’s there – just something we felt we should do for you.
Lastly, as a bonus for yourself, you can promote your LinkedIn Publisher post through any social media channel you wish as well – right now Twitter seems to be garnishing the best results.
