Content marketing (via blogs, podcasts, video, infographics, slides, etc.) helps you stay top-of-mind with referral relationships. When others share your content, they’re proactively recommending you. Offering premium content can also enable you to develop paying subscribers, getting you out of the hours-for-dollars rat race. And, content marketing remains a cornerstone for search engine optimization (SEO).
However, content marketing can be very time consuming to do. It takes a lot of time to produce content, build a following, convert followers into prospects and then convert them into paying clients. This is why so few of us do content marketing consistently. But maybe you’re doing it all wrong.
