Networking can help us in many different ways. Likewise, so can LinkedIn. But this article isn’t about how to use LinkedIn. Rather, we’ll explore how LinkedIn helps us utilize our networks depending on what type of user we are.
The Visitor
Some of us are only visitors on LinkedIn. We don’t consider it our home. LinkedIn isn’t where we network. We only joined because you asked us to. We know you from elsewhere and prefer to network with you there (most likely offline, though increasingly, it’s another form of social media).
